Manitowoc County is located in Eastern Wisconsin; along Lake Michigan. Its name means Dwelling of the Great Spirit.
The county seat and largest city are both Manitowoc. The county is located between Milwaukee and Green Bay.
It borders Sheboygan, Calumet, Brown and Kewaunee Counties.
Main roads include I-43, US-10, US-151 and WI-42.
